I would like continue to use my class blog as a tool to post assignments for students. Students will use their blogs to display their work. i will continue to use technology to engage students in the classroom and make their learning meaningful.

Most importantly, I'm excited about having my students create their own BLOGS and adding their links to mine. Thanks to Natalie for showing me how to use the google reader!

I want to try something new every month
I would like to add animoto to my blog. In addition, use videos from the smartboard with students demonstrating their knowledge of work. I think both of these examples shared from colleagues would really allow my students to buy-into using technology for educational purposes. I want to use my blog all week. I am going to try Schoology or Edmodo too. I believe these type of class-social networking will help me manage grading and technology use more easily.
ReplyDeleteI am unsure what kind of features I want to add to my blog. I know that I would like to post a weekly lesson message and have it on the board as students enter the room. The message could include all of the necessary links for the week. At the end of larger, technology-based projects I would also like to upload student work to my blog. I'm also envisioning the blog as an excellent resource for substitues in the classroom. Oh, I thought of another feature: I would like to incorperate the YOU Shelfari into my blog as well.
ReplyDeleteI want to add a current events feature with links to three credible news sources. Then I need to create a template for the students to answer prompts in quickwrite format. Finally, I want to clean up my blog page and have it align with what I'm teaching. One thing I would like to accomplish in the next six months is to integrate my blog into my teaching. Secondly, I want to do a lesson with comic life.
